Big Blue Ko Toa

23 december 2015 - Tambon Ko Tao, Thailand

Hoooooi!

Two days ago I started an open water course at big blue diving koh toa. And today I'm officially a certified diver :D

Tuesday Beth and me went to the blue divers shop, we decided that we should do the course that started that day. At first it was just a lot of theory. Butttt the second day we started with swimming in the pool, what was fun but not as exciting as the sea :) it's super cool to dive in sea, there are pretty big waves at the surface but as soon as you go under water it all disappears and the whole sea is calm. At first it was a bit scary but you'll get used to it very fast. Then you'll look around and watch the fish and the coral reef :) it's beautiful. We saw a little fish which was rare, our instructor was so happy about that little fish and we were like: what is he talking about? Haha.

I bought a video of our diving trips, it's very nice. Unfortunately too big to post :(

(I was tired of writing so now it's the 23th of December)

Last week we had a lot of fun, we went to the pub crawl at Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun :D I runned two times uphill what was terrible, never ever doing that again. I ate lots of pad Thai, and spent way too much money on food. I had a Thai massage, it was painful as hell but still a bit relaxing. We've been expecting a storm/typhoon for a few days now. Today it finally arrived, so now it's raining all day long. It's not that bad, a little change in weather, now we can actually do things inside without the feeling of missing out on the sun/good weather. So we went for a manicure and some Christmas shopping. Yes, we're celebrating Christmas. We'll do 'Secret Santa' what kinda looks like all the Dutch traditions we do with sinterklaas (you pick a name and you've to buy a present for that person in secret). While I'm writing this I'm listening to Christmas music haha :) it's so weird it is going to be Christmas in 2 days. The 25th we're going to the full moon party and the 26th I'm starting my travel to Cambodia already.

I'm looking forward to teach the kids, I hope it will be fun :D

(I really didn't feel like writing my blog sorry haha, It's not really a story.)

Oeh I met lots of nice people here on koh tao :)
